Owners Council
The DBIA Mid-America Region is a resource for owners who utilize or are interested in learning more about the design-build delivery method.
DBIA-MAR has developed an Owners Council to provide owners with the opportunity to meet with each other to share lessons learned and best practices in design-build. The Owners Council works to determine the most appropriate, effective and timely strategies to address the needs, facilitate the opportunities and minimize the obstacles faced by owners as they seek to understand and utilize the project delivery most appropriate to their needs.
The Owners’ Council is open to owners of private and/or public construction projects – vertical or horizontal. The Council gives owners a chance to network with their peers without pressure from industry practitioners who may be interested in promoting their products and services.

Owners Hotline
As the only organization that defines, teaches and promotes best practices in design-build project delivery, DBIA is committed to making access to information easy for public and private owners. DBIA’s Owners Hotline allows public agencies and private owners quick and direct access to information on design-build project delivery.
The DBIA Owner Hotline is monitored by DBIA’s National office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday (except holidays). Inquiries received during this timeframe will be responded to within 24 hours. Inquiries received on weekends and holidays will be responded to the first business day following the request.
