Professor in Supply Chain Management
Eric will lead an interactive discussion focusing on demand management issues related to COVID, as well as current and projected information regarding commodity supply & pricing. Eric’s past accomplishments include sourcing untapped profit through commodity demand and price integration and reducing warehouse inventory 56% by integrating retail forecasting. This allowed Eric to move from third shift subsidiary warehouse generalist to one of Hy-Vee’s 21 senior officers in 10 years.
He retired from Hy-Vee to start a consulting business and own/operate a sustainable dairy goat farm with his family. He is now a full Professor of Practice teaching for the ISU Ivy College of Business.
