The Methodist Women’s Hospital NICU expansion is a vertical expansion on top of the West side of the hospital. This new expansion consists of 11,000 square feet and includes 14 new patient rooms and a penthouse mechanical room. The project is being built above an active labor and delivery floor and adjacent to the active NICU. Major challenges of the project include controlling noise and vibration levels caused by construction work in an active hospital.
