DESCRIPTION:The Kansas chapters of AGC\, ACEC\, AIA-Wichita\, CFMA\, CSI\, DBIA-MAR\, NAWIC\, and PHCC will hold a joint collaborative conference for design and construction industry professionals in the state of Kansas. \nWho Will Attend?\n• Architects / Designers / Engineers\n• Building Contractors / Subcontractors\n• Emerging professionals and students in Building Design & Construction Related Fields\nGovernment Officials\, University Faculty Facility Managers\, Construction Law Professionals\, Financial Management Professionals \n \n\n\n\n\n\nPress Release \nDecember 20\, 2019 (Wichita\, Kansas) \nFederal Reserve Bank and AGC of America’s Chief Economist to be featured at Kan-Struct 2020 \nAlison Felix\, V.P and Denver Branch Executive at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and Ken Simonson\, Chief Economist for Associated General Contractors of America (Washington D.C) will be a presenter at Kan-Struct 2020.  Ms. Felix and Mr. Simonson will be presenting valuable industry information on construction material costs\, regional and national economic forecasts and outlooks. \nKan-Struct 2020 conference will feature a wide range of business breakout panel discussions on construction/design industry issues and will have a cross section of construction and design professionals in attendance. \nKan-Struct 2020 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Wichita Hotel/Conference Center in Wichita Kansas on February 6-7\, 2020. \nFor more information\, please see the Kan-Struct 2020 website – kan-struct.org or contact Mike Gibson at 785.260.1434\, mgibson@agcks.org. \n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda Schedule:\nConference organizers will set the day and time for each presentation in order to optimize the sequencing and flow of content and tracks. Concurrent education sessions will occur between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on February 6\, and from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on February 7. Each time slot will have up to four sessions running concurrently. \nSpeaker Benefits:\nThe host organizations do not pay an honorarium or travel expenses to our speakers. All speakers will receive the following: a complimentary pass to the conference with access to the keynote session\, all sessions\, panels\, and conference-hosted meals. Speakers will be featured in the conference publication and website. \n
