DESCRIPTION:Who Should Attend \nThis one-day inclusive education and training session for city and county officials; managers and staff of municipal\, private\, and governmental organizations; and private industry will provide essential knowledge needed to plan for\, procure and manage design-build for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. \nSession topics \n\nOrganization Preparation—Deciding to Use Collaborative Delivery\nPrinciples of Collaborative Delivery\nApportioning Risk—Guiding Principles\nContract Fundamentals: Liability\, Warranty and Commercial Concepts\nThe Procurement Process\nImplementation\, Project Management and Transition\n\nAttendees participate in experiential exercises to apply lessons learned to real life projects. \nProgram Materials \n\nParticipants each receive (and use during the session) the 4th Edition of the Water and Wastewater Design-Build Handbook and additional handout materials.\nA pre-session questionnaire is used to guide the session and achieve participant learning objectives.\nA CEU certificate is issued to attendees who complete a short 10-question multiple-choice test.\n\n  \n
