DESCRIPTION:Join Mayor Don Groesser and Doug Bisson for an overview of the recently publicized HINGE Development and Downtown Revitalization Master Plan for the City of Ralston. Don Groesser\, Mayor of Ralston NE\, has been the Mayor for 23 years serving in his sixth term.  Don has served on the board of NE League of Municipalities as well as President and also serves on the National League of Cities Advisory Board\, Small City Council and Information Technologies and Communications Committee. Don retired from Union Pacific Railroad IT Department and Teradata Computer Systems which has high capacity and speed computer systems used for Data Intelligence and Analysis. \nMr. Doug Bisson serves as HDR’s Central Region Urban Planning and Design Principal and has expertise in urban design and redevelopment.  In addition to the Ralston Downtown / Hinge Master Plan\, he was the Project Manager for several additional notable initiatives within the region\, including Aksarben Village\, Destination Midtown\, the Downtown Omaha 2030 Master Plan\, the Downtown Iowa City / Riverfront Crossings Master Plan\, the University Village Master Plan\, the River’s Edge Master Plan\, the Flatwater Crossing Master plan\, and the Des Moines Market District Master Plan.  In addition\, Doug serves on numerous community-based boards. \n     \n  \nEvent Sponsors \n \n \n  \n
