DESCRIPTION:Come join DBIA on a tour of the new hangars and offices of the ACFL (Air Capital Flight Line)\, then the ATLAS (The Advanced Technologies Lab for Aerospace Systems)\, and NIAR WERX Facilities that are part of the ACFL complex \nACFL is the commercial development occupying the former site of the Boeing Company in Wichita\, Kansas. Comprised of 324 acres of flight line and an 88-acre office park\, this location is ideally suited for companies serving the aviation\, aerospace and information technology industries. \nATLAS is a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment and engineering education program to prepare engineers and educators for the Factory of the Future and to aid the current workforce in seamlessly adapting to advancements in the workplace. \nNIAR WERX\, a division of Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research\, provides engineering\, modification/repair/overhaul\, environmental test and flight test/certification services. \n  \n
